We visit Hawaii every year for about a month in the Spring as a family. We had always known & watched the polo games just up the road from our house, and this year at the end of our stay my dad decided to get me polo lessons. Well when living in WA State is a little hard to bring a helmet and boots to ride in all the way to Hawaii. So I ended up taking my lessons with tennis shoes & thanks to my GUMBO head no helmet. I had a amazing trainer & had a delightful time. We have already made plans to continue lessons when we return next year.

Due to the fact my horse is Trained for Search & Rescue, I found it was probably not a good idea to teach him polo, along with the fact, you can't really find a polo field in the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, WA. I have continue to practice my swing, and as instructed by my trainer, I have been posting A LOT, i mean A LOT. The first few days I thought my legs we going to fall off! But now I just keep pushing my self. I must say I am a little afraid of playing an actual game, and plus I was still trying to fit in as the kid from Washington who has not ridin in 5 months thanks to snow. Yet I think it will be great experience.

Anyway.... I was asked to do my 4-H demo on Polo & in doing my research I found your website, and not only did I find more detailed explanations for things I already knew, I learned SO much I had not known, so thank you!

THANK YOU! and you did a wonderful job with website presentation.
