Polo Tip Video – Striking On The Near Side Without Fouling
In this video, Christian demonstrates how to execute a nearside shot without crossing over the line of the ball, a common foul. He shows how to practice the shot with your horse so that its performance, as well as your own, will be consistent on game day. Another great video by Christian Moon demonstrating how sound horsemanship will lead to good striking in polo.

why did he change lead to the right leg (when he mentions the lead change)
@choob: The video cuts to the next pass immediately after the lead change, but I’m guessing Christian asked the horse to turn right, away from the line, after they had passed the pole. I think he probably pointed out the lead change just to highlight the fact that the horse wasn’t trying to cross the line after the swing but instead was preparing to the turn away from the line.
