Schooling a Green Horse for Polo – Video 2

In this second video in the “Schooling a Green Horse for Polo” series, Christian introduces Hanalei to her first saddle and her first attempts at learning to steer. In this video Christian demonstrates the benefits of slow and fluid motion when schooling a horse, steering the horse from the ground first and teaching the horse to follow it’s nose. He also discusses teaching the halt through repetition and input from the basal.
