This video, edited by the Hurlingham Polo Association, illustrates common polo fouls encountered while turning the ball, blocking, and at the throw-in. The video illustrates not only the actual fouls (taken from tournament footage) but also provides examples of how the same maneuvers can be accomplished, or when they can be accomplished, without fouling.

Practicing with Ellerstina: High-Def Helmet Camera
This is really cool. The Ellerstina polo team (winners of the 2008 Argentine Open) mounted a high-definition camera on one of their player’s helmets. I’ve heard the player with the camera is supposed to be Facundo Pieres but I don’t know.
Polo.tv – free videos of high-goal polo
I imagine that most of the PoloGringo readers are already familiar with the website Polo.tv but in case you’re not, this is a fantastic free resource. Basically, Polo.tv is a collection of video clips from the various high-goal polo tournaments around the world. They have video of the Argentine Open, the US Open, the Coronation Cup, the Outback 40-goal, and many others. There is even some snow polo and test matches thrown in there.
